1.Introduction

RO4830 Plus thermoset laminates represent the latest innovation in dielectric materials, offering exceptional performance for cost-effective millimeter-wave applications such as 76-81 GHz automotive corner radar sensors.


Engineered with a woven-glass-free thermoset dielectric, RO4830 Plus delivers a stable dielectric constant (~3.03 at 77 GHz) and ultra-low insertion loss (1.5 dB/inch for 5mil laminates). Its compatibility with standard FR-4 processes and excellent laser drilling performance make it a preferred choice for RF designers. The material is PFAS-free, UL-V0 rated, and ideal for patch antennas, RF feed networks, and multi-chip radar designs.
